January 2012: Investment in new rooms
At the beginning of this year and due to the reduction in VAT we were able to complete a further step in our investment program. 1St of January, we phased our old standard rooms out of service and in their place we have introduced brand new double rooms into service. The new room designs complement our spirit and philosophy of consistent growth and add great value to the guest perspective regards the color scheme, furnishings and functionality of the interior. The new rooms that feature a king-size bed and modern attractive Kitchen appeals particularly to young couples with smallerr budgets as well as the astute business traveller who wants to live and work in comfortable surroundings during longer stays.
We are quite certain that these rooms match our guests’ expectations and positive resonance.
January / February 2011: New staff and 24/7 availability
With effrect from January 1st, the reception of the Apartment Hotel Hamburg Mitte is avaliable 365 days around the clock. This was possible by hiring a new front desk agent, a further employee in housekeeping and one in F&B. This staffing upgarde will be flanked by a couple of training measures during the year. The Hotel Manager Jürgen Gieseke explained: "Investment in new staff and excellent service quality are important prerequisites for the implementation of our philosophy: We Live Hotel and the lowering of the VAT has once again here palyed an important role". It provides further scope for investment.
December 2010/ January 2011: Invest for the guest
Other rooms have been equipped with popular kitchens, hallways were repainted and the floors received new carpeting. The reduction of VAT on beds in 2010 made this investment for the Apartment-Hotel Hamburg Mitte possible.
July 2010: New Website- New Name
on July 1st, 2010 the Apartment-Hotel Hamburg Hamm, now... Hamburg Mitte, has been implemented with a new name and a new Web site in the Internet. It is now fresher, faster, more informative and customer friendly.
